Their garden was absolutely gorgeous, blooming with an array of colourful roses, overlooking the Leith Hill tower and beautiful scenery of Surrey Hills.

Additionally, they were both very easy to contact for the small questions and had a guide for common house rules.

Just as described, they had lovingly kept the space ready for us as if we were family, and we enjoyed staying there as if that were the case. They had even curated a special snack hamper for our stay!

I would recommend The Nest to my family and friends, and would definitely consider coming again!

The owners are super friendly and helpful, while providing you with plenty of privacy throughout your stay. So much to see and do within an easy distance, we will have to return to be able to do it all!

And I was right. We had a perfect stay.
Hosts Julie and Damien are discreet and take great care to make sure residents of their annex have privacy.
The space is compact but all you need with a comfy bed, sofa and a shower with good pressure. But the highlight is outside. The views across the Surrey Hills would be hard to beat and the aforementioned private pool creates a real holiday atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough.

... read more /> Julie and Damien are perfect hosts going above and beyond to not only be perfect hosts but to be kind and charming people for whom nothing is too much trouble. Anything that I needed from freezer bags to an extra blanket were produced instantly.

The Nest is immaculately clean and beautifully furnished with Julies impeccable interior design skill. The pool is gorgeous, private, clean and tranquil.

Silent Pool provide delicious local gin with Mandheeras mouthwatering curries and the superb Kingfisher Farm Shop with lovely fresh produce and delicacies that would not be out of place in Harrods food hall.

There’s plenty to do and see with superb walking, picture perfect country villages and vineyards nearby. In short an immaculate and tranquil oasis.

Our hosts, Julie and Damian, go above and beyond. Not only are they discreet and helpful, offering lots of thoughtful advice and ideas throughout our stay, but they even remembered it was my birthday and got me a birthday card!

Unlike most cosy cottage holiday let’s, the kitchen and bathroom here are really well-equipped with all the latest appliances and ironware/utensils. You really can properly “live” here! The decor is gorgeous, understated and comfortable, and the accommodation is wonderfully private, despite the vast sweeping views.

Location-wise, I really don’t think this place can be beaten if you like proper walking and breathtaking views. There is a charming farm shop and even a vineyard in walking distance too! 100% recommend for anyone needing to “re-charge” your batteries.
